We can accommodate up to 18 adults for an intimate seated dinner in our sunroom (with additional seating for 6 children at the dining room table), 30 people comfortably for an indoor standing cocktail reception, and up to 200 people for a tented event in our eastern or western fields. We have multiple locations on site to host your ceremony, including our east-facing sunroom featuring panoramic views, along the lush treeline, or backing on to our private pond or 14-acres of prairie landscape.

Below is information, pricing and answers to commonly asked questions about weddings and special events at Greenview Paradise.
We are far from your common commercial wedding venue! At Greenview Paradise, we provide you with the ultimate modern luxury country getaway. Our beautiful 14-acre private property features unique amenities, not found at other wedding facilities. With the assistance of our recommended vendors, our personal attention, and the most spectacular view of the prairies, having your wedding at Greenview will only enhance one of the most memorable events of your life!
How many people does the house sleep?
Greenview Paradise features one king bed, one queen bed, one double bed, two bunk beds, and a futon. Guests also have access to 10 cots (additional fee of $25 per cot) and two cribs, upon special request prior to check-in. In total, the house can sleep 22 people, with the use of cots and cribs.
Can I sell alcohol on the property?
While you cannot sell alcohol at Greenview Paradise, you are welcome to provide your guests with alcohol purchased by you. You may also provide the alcohol to a bar tender or server, who may then serve it to your guests.
Do we accommodate LGBTQ weddings?
Yes, we do!
What are the additional services that come with the special events fee?
Our usual check-in and check-out times are 5:00 P.M. and 11:00 A.M respectively. When it comes to weddings and special events, we allow an early check-in of 9:00 A.M. But bear in mind that an early check-in prevents us from renting the property out to other guests the night before
1 tour of Greenview Paradise to take place on any un-booked Monday-Thursday (subject to change if a reservation occurs)
Disposal of event-related garbage/recycling that is placed by the guest in the dump trailer provided by Greenview Paradise
Extended check-in tour to ensure you understand how to operate all property amenities during your stay, and what is available to you and your guests. E.g. Chairs, garbage, additional beds & linens, smoking towers, parking.
Mindful of how important it is for your event to go as planned, we will be available for prompt and unlimited communication until your event has concluded.
Additional bottled water, coffee, tea, cream, sugar, honey, firewood, linens, robes, and spa slippers for use in the hot tub.
Complimentary use of hot tub with access to a selection of relaxing aromatherapy oils and crystals.
On the day of your event there will be an on-call Greenview employee never more than 30-45 minutes away for any unforeseen issues with the property or related amenities.
Calendar hold – Your dates are guaranteed with a 50% deposit

What is our deposit policy?
Your deposit which represents half the value of your event(s), weddings(s) and or stay(s), is non-refundable, except in situations where the property owner is at fault for cancelling your event booking without reasonable cause. Your reservation for a special event, stay or wedding may only be rescheduled once and must be for the same type of booking as initially reserved (e.g. special event, stay or wedding). Your special event, stay or wedding cannot be rebooked on any long weekends or holidays, such as Christmas, New Year's Eve/Day, Thanksgiving or Canada Day, unless your booking was originally on a long weekend or holiday, in which case you may rebook for the following year on the same holiday or long weekend (if available). You would not be able to change your special event reservation to a holiday or long weekend that falls on a different holiday or long weekend the following year. Rebooking for future dates may be subject to additional or reduced fees, depending on the value of future dates. If you need to cancel your wedding, stay or special event, you are only entitled to rebook your special event, regular stay or wedding once. A second cancellation of your wedding, special event or regular stay will result in the loss of your 50% deposit on your reserved dates. If you have canceled your reserved dates twice and lost your deposit, we are sympathetic to your situation and are willing to extend a 25% discount on a stay of up to 4 consecutive nights. As such, the 25% discount cannot be broken up into separate dates, since this would involve more than one check-in and check-out. The 25% discount will apply to the entirety of your chosen dates and is calculated before GST. This discount may only be applied to regular stays and may not be used for a wedding, special event, long weekend or the aforementioned holidays. The 25% discount may only be used for dates that fall at least 4 months after your second canceled booking. You have 7 days from your date reserved to cancel your stay in order to avoid losing your deposit.

Are pets allowed?
We will allow one hypoallergenic dog at Greenview Paradise.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
Unfortunately, the weather is beyond our control. This is precisely why we highly recommend you be prepared for any weather scenario so your special day can proceed rain or shine.
How do I book?
Contact Greenview Paradise and we will walk you through our play-by-play doc-u-sign contract agreement. If you wish to book more than a year in advance, please call directly, 431-374-2257.
Where is parking?
We have multiple spots on the property where you can park your vehicles as well on the street in front of our acreage.
Where do most wedding receptions take place on the property?
For wedding receptions of up to 120 people, we recommend placing your tent on our gravel pad located in between the home and our maintenance storage unit. The view from our elevated gravel pad is breathtaking, with 100’s of acres of farmland, including our 2-acre pond and island!
What services are available in the area, and how close are we to the city?
The beauty of Greenview Paradise is that we can provide our guests with a private country setting, albeit just minutes from the city. Therefore, you will still be in close proximity to food delivery services and transportation services such as taxis, should you or your guests require any of these. We are located off St. Mary’s road, only 5 minutes south of the south Perimeter Highway.
Where do wedding ceremonies take place on the property?
Back lawn - facing the pond and agricultural land (ideal for small groups)
Sunroom – 6 double patio doors to provide spectacular sunlight (ideal for small groups of 20 only)
Fall weddings in front of our northern-facing forest (can accommodate up to 120) are breathtaking
Gravel pad – provides a breathtaking view of our pond, our island which is surrounded by beautiful 6-inch white limestone and consists of flattened soil to add a rustic twist, and 100’s of acres of agricultural land (an ideal spot for up to 120 people to take in the ceremony)
Are winter weddings possible?

Are there any additional mandatory expenses?
We ask that you obtain PAL/Special Events insurance for your wedding/special event. Depending on the size of your event, we may ask you to secure an extra trailer port-a-potty or regular port-a-potties to accommodate your guests.
What is the typical timeline for our stay and functions at Greenview, including set-up and tear-down?
When you arrive on your check-in day, a Greenview Paradise representative will be at the house to greet you and give you the extended tour of the property inside and out. Your vendors will be soon to arrive for set-up! Day two would be your wedding function/ceremony or event. Day three would be dedicated to disassembly by your vendors and property clean-up.
To what degree do we need to clean Greenview Paradise?
We do not expect our guests to tend to the bed sheets, towels and linens. Basically, there is no need for extensive cleaning. Other then the aforementioned cleaning duties Greenview Paradise staff tends to, we do insist that the house and outer property be left in the same condition it was in upon check-in, in order to avoid deductions from your damage deposit.
Do we have to give a damage deposit?
Yes, all bookings require a damage deposit, which will be refunded to you within 24-48 hours after your check out, provided that all property rules are followed and no property damage has been incurred during your stay/event. The value of your deposit is 50% the total value of your booking.
What are the rules that we need to follow to ensure my damage deposit is returned?
They are listed in our contract agreement.
What is the timeline for payment of my reservation deposit, my damage deposit and any outstanding balances?
When reserving your requested dates, we take a non-refundable deposit of 50% the value of your booking. The remaining value of your booking (50% left to pay) and your damage deposit (50% the value of your booking) will be owing upon check-in.
Are there any outdoor power sources available for our vendors on the property?
Yes, there is! Please discuss with our property management team how many vendors you have that require power!
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we do however ask that you absorb 50% of the transaction fee, which varies depending on the amount charged.
Can we swim in the pond?
No, but you are welcome to use our pedal boats on days where there is not much wind.
Does Greenview Paradise offer any equipment rentals?
We have 60 outdoor hardwood chairs available for rent, (inquire for pricing).
Is there anything for children at Greenview Paradise?
Yes! In the front yard there is a large play structure. In the sunroom we have a large collection of board games and puzzles. The kid’s room features a TV, a video game console with games, a drawing table, and a vast array of toys.
Are tents permitted on the property?
Yes! Please see our 'Recommended Vendor' list below for more information on tents.
How many guests can your venue accommodate for a wedding?
We can accommodate up to 18 adults for an intimate seated dinner in our sunroom (with additional seating for 6 children at the dining room table), 30 people comfortably for an indoor standing cocktail reception, and up to 120 people for a tented event in our eastern field or on the gravel pad.
Can I use vendors/suppliers of my choosing?
Yes! We welcome all vendors, but in relation to tent rentals, we do highly recommend that you use our preferred vendor Tentation Rentals. They are very knowledgeable about all areas of our property and therefore there will be no issues with set-up or take-down on your very special day. We cannot promise this if you choose another tent company. We have provided a list of recommended vendors to choose from below, but again, it is completely up to you as it is your special day!
Can we have fireworks at our wedding?
Yes, but permits and licenses are required. Please contact us for more information and check out Archangel Fireworks Wedding & Special Events Packages.
How much does it cost to have my wedding/event at Greenview Paradise?
To ensure your vendors have enough time to complete their set-up and tear-down, weddings and special events require a minimum stay of three nights and four days, in addition to the special events fee. Review our nightly rates below.

Excluding Holidays - Minimum 2-night stay for regular bookings (minimum 3-night stay for weddings and special events)
Sunday - Thursday - $1,000.00 per night plus GST
Friday-Saturday - $1,250.00 per night plus GST
Long Weekends – Minimum 3-night stay - $1,350.00 per night plus GST
Special Dates (Valentines, Halloween, St. Patrick's Day) – Minimum 2-night stay - $1,300.00 per night plus GST
Christmas & New Years Eve – Minimum 3-night stay - $1,400.00 per night plus GST
Extended Stay Discounts (1 week or more)
1-2 Weeks– 5%
2-4 Weeks – 10%
1 month or more – 15%
Standard cleaning fee at the end of any stay: $500 plus GST.
Special events fee below:
1-119 Guests $4,000.00 plus GST
120-179 Guests $4,500.00 plus GST
180-225 Guests $5,000.00 plus GST
Pricing Example: (Wedding of 100 people) Friday, July 14th, 2023, check-in @ 9:00 A.M. – Monday, July 17th, 2023, check-out @ 11:00 A.M.
Total cost of the booking: $3,500.00 (nightly rates combined) + $500.00 (cleaning fee) = $4,000.00 + GST
Special events fee total: $4,000.00 + GST
Sub total = $8,000.00 + GST = Grand total - $8,400.00
